Plan International Canada has released its Gender Responsive Pedagogy Teacher Training (GRPTT) pack which integrates gender equality into practical, child-centered pedagogical teacher training. The 10-day training introduces key gender-related issues and concepts in education, and mainstreams gender considerations into teaching skills, such as lesson planning and positive discipline, to enable teachers to eliminate gender stereotypes in common classroom scenarios, promote respectful interactions between students, and ensure that girls and boys in their diversity are equally encouraged and empowered to achieve.
