This document provides a framework developed by the Interagency Gender Working Group (IGWG) subcommittee to incorporate gender into the design and evaluation of population, health and nutrition (PHN) programs. The document also provides information on gender, illustrative actitvies to address gender-related barriers and constraints and provides generally applicable gender indicators that can be incorporated into PHN programs.
