This document outlines strategies that The Global Fund will support to ensure gender-equitable interventions to adress HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria. The strategies in this document focus primarily on the needs of women and girls, because their needs are most often marginalized. The Global Fund has developed a separate strategy document for the distinct needs of other vulnerable populations, including men who have sex with men, and transgender, bisexual and lesbian populations.
