This reference manual and facilitator’s guide is one in a series produced by the WHO, Western Pacific Region. The first part of the document contains information on the links between gender, poverty and HIV/AIDS and methods for addressing poverty and gender concerns in HIV/AIDS programs. The second part contains a facilitator’s guide for a workshop intended for health professionals, policy makers, and program managers on integrating gender and poverty into HIV/AIDS programs.
