This manual can be used to design and conduct the Healthy Images of Manhood (HIM) program for a specific company. HIM is a workplace program (based on successful gender programs in Africa and Latin America) that is intended to engage men and change unhealthy cultural practices, gender norms and behaviors. Facilitators and company staff members should adapt the manual and individual sessions according to the time available, the nature of the workplace, and the knowledge and skills of the participants.
