This package provides guidelines for improving and implementing legislation and policies that help prevent violence against women. It is intended for a broad audience of policymakers, advocacy groups, governmental and nongovernmental agencies, and others. It consists of five fact sheets on the following topics: Public Policy on Domestic Violence; Key Components of Laws and Policies on Domestic Violence; Municipal Policies on Violence against Women; Comprehensive Care for Domestic Violence against Women in the Health Sector; and Monitoring of Laws and Policies on Domestic Violence. Each fact sheet contains information about policies or laws in the Caribbean and Latin America as well as  guidelines that can be applied globally. Users can download individual sections of the package or as one complete document.
